Full rewires
Complete replacement of the property's fixed wiring, including new circuits, consumer unit, sockets, switches and lighting points.
Partial rewires
Where only part of an installation has reached the end of its life, we rewire the affected circuits and leave the rest tested and documented.
Consumer unit replacement
A new board with modern protective devices, installed after the existing circuits have been tested so faults are found before changeover, not after.
Lighting and sockets
Positions agreed with you room by room before first fix, including additional sockets, switch positions and lighting arrangements.
Sequencing around the property
Occupied rewires are staged so the property keeps working power where possible, with agreed isolation windows rather than a blanket shutdown.
Testing and certification
The installation is tested and certified on completion, and notifiable work is notified.

Can we stay in the property during a rewire?
Often yes, depending on the size of the property and how the work is staged. We agree the sequence and the isolation windows with you before starting.
Does a rewire include plastering and decorating?
Builder's work such as making good is excluded unless your written quotation says otherwise. We will tell you clearly what is and is not included.
How do I know whether I need a full rewire?
Inspection and testing of the existing installation is the honest starting point. In some properties only certain circuits need replacing, and the report will show that.
Can I get a price online?
You can get a provisional estimate from our online estimator. A rewire is normally confirmed with a written quotation after the property has been seen.
