Questions
Frequently asked questions
FAQs
What is the difference between an estimate and a quotation?
An estimate is a provisional figure based on what you have told us and can change once the work is seen. A quotation is a fixed price issued in writing after the scope is confirmed. Anything produced on this website is an estimate.
Do you need photographs?
They help, but they are always optional. Please do not remove any electrical covers, open a consumer unit or get near exposed parts to take a photograph — a picture of the outside of the board or the affected area is enough.
Do you provide certification after the work?
Yes. Testing and certification appropriate to the work is issued on completion, and notifiable work is notified. Inspection and testing produces a written report listing observations and any coded remedial actions.
Do you carry out work outside normal hours?
Out-of-hours and planned evening or weekend works can be arranged, particularly for commercial premises that cannot lose trading time. Tell us your access window and we will plan the work around it.
Can you support commercial premises and facilities-management teams?
Yes. We handle reactive faults, planned electrical works, inspection and testing, and remedials for commercial customers, including multi-site requirements. Access arrangements, reporting requirements and out-of-hours works are agreed up front.
