Every figure shown by the quote assistant is a preliminary estimate based solely on the information you provide. It is not a quotation and does not form a contract.
How figures are produced
Estimates come from a fixed pricing engine using published labour rates, callout fees, travel zones, typical materials, quantities, working hours and emergency surcharges. Our AI assistant may summarise your description and ask follow-up questions; it never sets, alters or suggests a price.
Included
Labour at the stated rate, the applicable callout fee, travel within the stated zone, typical materials for the job type, and testing or certification where notifiable.
Excluded
VAT where applicable, parking, congestion and ULEZ charges, specialist or customer-specified parts, builder’s work and making good.
Site visits
Complex, unsafe or insufficiently specified work is marked ’site visit required’. We will not price work online that cannot responsibly be priced online.
Safety
The assistant never diagnoses faults or gives instructions involving wiring or opening equipment. If you believe there is immediate danger, call 999 and then call us.
