FAQs
How long does an EICR take?
It depends on the number of circuits and how accessible the installation is. We agree the expected duration with you before attendance so you can plan access.
Will you need to turn the power off?
Parts of the test require circuits to be isolated. We agree the isolation windows with you up front so anything sensitive can be shut down properly first.
What happens if the report is unsatisfactory?
The report lists each observation with its code. We then price the remedial items separately so you can decide what to proceed with and in what order.
Do you carry out testing on commercial premises out of hours?
Yes. Out-of-hours and weekend testing can be arranged, particularly where a site cannot lose trading time.
